International Cooperation Office

The major goal of the Centre of International Cooperation is to integrate Volga State University of Technology into educational space and assure its participation in the market of scientific-research work and educational service, develop international academic mobility of students and professors of the university.

• Coordination of the university participation in international academic programs and projects;
• Organizing Volga Tech international events: summer schools, seminars, congresses, and conferences;
• Framing of agreements on academic exchanges and cooperation with Volga Tech international partners worldwide;
• Engaging students, post-graduates and faculty in participation in international academic mobility.

As a result of many years work of the Centre, the university has received recognition for its achievements, teaching staff has increased its scientific potential and better quality of specialist training has been established.

Today the international projects office works with such leading academic programs as TEMPUS, Fulbright, DAAD, Campus France, and Nuffic organization. The university has a binding agreement with the following partners abroad:

• University of Padua (Italy);
• Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece);
• BOKU-University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (Austria);

• Bulgarian Department of International academic informatization;
• Department of Tourism and Hospitality of Concord University (Athens, West Virginia, USA)
