The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in European Expertise and Technology for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Forestry – SUFEX at Volga State University of Technology is focusing its activities primarily on promotion of the European approaches towards research and teaching in the field of Sustainable Forestry and Environment. The staff of SUFEX studies European experience in environmental policy and green diplomacy, develops new curriculums and modules for master and PhD students, organises international conferences and summer schools in the field of studies.
One of the mains tasks of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at Volga Tech is to popularise among the youth knowledge about advanced experience of the EU countries in the field of sustainable development. SUFEX provides open platform for dialogue between EU and Russia for the different stakeholders working in the field of forestry and environment.
