ZOOM webinar on climate-smart forestry

April 5, 2022 the Jean Monnet chair 4CLIM hosted the first ZOOM webinar on climate-smart forestry. The conference participants were teachers and students of Volgatech, Bashkir Agrarian University, Fujian Normal University (China), representatives of the forestry ministries, and researchers of Russian universities. At the webinar, presentations were made on the activities of the newly created Jean Monnet chair at Volgatech, upcoming project events, courses being developed for master students in "forestry" with an emphasis on climate-smart forestry and the experience of European foresters in this area. The participants of the event discussed possible ways of cooperation within the framework of the Jean Monnet project and expressed interest in using the products (new courses, publications) of the chair in the educational activities.
